Let's Begin!
It's never too early to teach children about the environment, take this summer as an opportunity to teach children how to take care of the environment. You can start with simple actions, such as the following:
Turn Off the Light
Teach them to turn off the light in their room and other rooms in the house when they are not using them to save on electricity. It's an option to save on energy consumption and to start focusing and taking on other responsibilities.
Recycle Correctly
Recycling is one of the foundations of caring for the environment. Teach your children that each type of waste is thrown into a different colored container. The organic in the brown container, the paper in the blue, the plastic in the yellow, and the glass in the green.
Close the Water Tap
Water is a scarce commodity, and in many countries around the world, large numbers of people live without access to clean and drinkable water. According to the World Health Organization, contaminated water can transmit diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid or polio. Furthermore, they estimate that by 2025, half the world's population will live in areas with water shortages.
